Martin will be taking on the role of Dr Neville Craven in the Secret Garden, at London's Kings Head Theatre.

The Secret Garden previews on Sunday the 10th of February, and Opens Monday 11th running, Sundays and Mondays ONLY until Sunday 17th March.

Mercury Musical development

Celebrating songs from British musicals past, present and future including Our Day Out (Willy Russell), Meantime (Douglas Hodge), Soapdish (Stiles & Drewe), French Without Tears (Charles Hart), The Buskers Opera (Dougal Irvine), The Go Between (Richard Taylor and David Wood), One Man Two Guvnors (Grant Olding), Mathilda (Tim Minchin), Billy (Don Black and John Barry), The Boyfriend (Sandy Wilson), A Day In Hollywood a Night In The Ukraine (Frank Lazarus and Dick Vosburgh) and many other shows by MMD Members.

Artists appearing include Michael Xavier, Janie Dee, Sally Anne Triplett, Haydn Gwynne, David Bedella, Paul Kaye and Jenna Russell. Maria Friedman, Danielle Hope and Michael Ball will present the Sidney Brown Memorial Award.

From its inception in 1992, MMD was the only writer-based organisation in Britain dedicated to the development and presentation of new musical theatre. Established from a core of 11 students who worked with Stephen Sondheim at Oxford University, the organisation now has over 260 members and this year joined the Arts Council England Portfolio in partnership with Musical Theatre. www.mercurymusicals.com
